NIGHTSHIFT CARE

In Minecraft: main menu -> Care. Export support report creates a local ZIP and readable TXT; review it before sharing. No automatic upload.

If Minecraft will not start: open this instance's game folder in your launcher, then run Nightshift Care from its nightshift folder (CMD on Windows, COMMAND on macOS, SH on Linux). These tools require Java 17. The same runtime your launcher uses can run:
java -jar nightshift/nightshift-care-tools-0.1.3.jar --root <Minecraft game folder> --gui

Close Minecraft. Check files first, review the listed changes and download size, then Apply reviewed repair. The tool repairs the installed release, not an upgrade. Original files and recognized duplicate managed mods stay in nightshift/repairs. Modified settings, unknown extra mods and personal files stay in place. On a stopped repair, check files again; the retained journal recovers before further changes. Do not delete recovery folders while investigating.

Media downloads once into hash-addressed bundles. Routine code updates reuse unchanged media. You can play while it downloads; return to the title screen to activate completed media. First-install media transfer still takes time.

CLI: --check writes nightshift/repair-plan.json; --apply requires that reviewed plan. --report exports locally; --media downloads/retries media. No command launches Minecraft or uploads a report.
